Videography Project: Art Installation Time Lapse

I had the privilege of working with Austin Birds iVideo to create a time lapse of an art piece being put up at a new commercial building in North Austin. It took two and a half days of pictures taken every minute to put this together into a time lapse. It was a fun project, and it was really cool seeing this art transform the space. Enjoy!

Wrote and Directed Short Film “What Keeps Us Apart”

The semester of Spring 2018, my last semester of college, I’ve been busy creating a short film for my class Advanced Narrative Production. The film is based on my personal experience and follows a young Iranian-American girl’s struggle with her identity when her Iranian grandmother is banned from the country because of the Travel Ban. I had to pitch the idea to my class, and it was voted by my classmates and instructors to be made. I wrote the script and directed it. It’s currently being edited, and will be finished by May 2018.
